Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier through our authentication provider. TrainerScope does not store or process your password directly.
• Collection and Wishlist data. Cards you add to your Collection or Wishlist are stored so you can view and manage them across sessions.
• Saved preferences. Settings related to your account or how you use TrainerScope may be stored to improve your experience.
• Usage and analytics data. To understand which cards are popular, TrainerScope records when a card is viewed. A random, pseudonymous visitor identifier may be stored locally in your browser. Card views are deduplicated and used only in aggregate for analytics and the Popular Cards feature. This identifier does not reveal your real-world identity.

Cookies and browser storage

TrainerScope uses cookies and browser storage only for things that need them: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and supporting the pseudonymous view-tracking described above. We do not use these technologies for advertising.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain TrainerScope features (including Collection, Wishlist, Trade tools, Master Sets, and Popular Cards), keep the service secure, prevent abuse, understand aggregate usage, and improve the service.

Service providers

TrainerScope relies on third-party infrastructure providers to host the app, manage the database, and handle authentication. Supabase is used for database and authentication services. We do not share information with advertisers.

Data selling

TrainerScope does not sell users’ personal information. We may share information only with service providers, to comply with legal requirements, to protect the security of the service, or to respond to abuse.

Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate your account, provide the service, maintain security, and comply with legitimate obligations.

Children

TrainerScope is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect material revisions.
